Description: PE coiled pipe is HDPE pipe supplied in coils. Without built-in drippers, it can be coiled for transportation and cut to length on site. It is widely used as irrigation branch pipelines, different from drip irrigation pipe and drip tape.

1. Application

Water-saving irrigation projects: Greenhouses, orchards, farmland and landscaping. It serves as branch pipes for drip or sprinkler irrigation systems to deliver water-fertilizer mixture, connecting main pipes with terminal drip tapes and sprinklers.

Farmland water diversion: Branch pipelines from well pumps and filter outlets to farmland.

Water supply for garden landscapes and seedling nurseries. It can be laid on the ground or shallowly buried.

Connecting pipelines for small water supply and water & fertilizer integrated equipment.

Advantages: Supplied in full coils and cut as required on site. Fast installation with fewer joints, ideal for scattered farmland plots.

2. Types

1. By raw material Virgin HDPE coiled pipe: Made of raw high-density polyethylene with carbon black for UV resistance. It has strong toughness and aging resistance, the top choice for bidding projects.

Recycled-material coiled pipe: Mixed with recycled plastic, low in price but prone to aging and cracking. Normally not adopted in formal water conservancy projects.

2. Nominal Pressure PN (Common for irrigation) PN6 (0.6MPa): Low-pressure surface branch pipe for farmland PN8 (0.8MPa): The most widely used specification for irrigation PN10 (1.0MPa): For locations with large elevation difference and relatively high water pressure

3. Outer Diameter Specifications DN16, DN20, DN25, DN32, DN40, DN50, DN63

DN16/20/25 are most commonly used as branch pipes in drip irrigation systems; DN32 and larger sizes are used for main branches.

4. Classification by application scenario Sun-resistant surface type: Black, added with carbon black for UV resistance, directly laid outdoors; Buried type: HDPE material, resistant to soil corrosion, suitable for shallow underground burial.

3. Main Performance (Virgin HDPE Coiled Pipe)

Material: Brand-new high-density polyethylene (HDPE), black, blended with carbon black anti-aging agent.

Physical properties: Good flexibility, coilable, bending-resistant and impact-resistant. Hard to break under slight ground settlement.

Hydraulic performance: Smooth inner wall, low flow resistance, low head loss and less scaling.

Chemical resistance: Resists acid, alkali and soil corrosion, suitable for saline-alkali land and rust-free.

Connection method: Quick-lock fittings for small diameters; butt fusion available for large diameters.

Operating temperature: -20℃～60℃.

Service life: 8–15 years for exposed surface installation; over 30 years under buried conditions.
